Ahh, hipsters. The official (Google) definition of a hipster is “a person who follows the latest trends and fashions, especially those regarded as being outside the cultural mainstream.”
By congregating together in going against the ~cultural norms~, hipsters have created their own sub-culture. One where beards, $6 lattes, and recycled denim rule.
The app Where Is Williamsburg?* locates the most hipster neighborhood in every city, letting trendy folk travel around without straying too far from their comfort zone. In other words, this app allows someone from Brooklyn to plan a trip to Iowa, and know where they’re most likely to find a retro arcade bar to drink whiskey in.
*If you are from Brooklyn, you probably won’t be surprised to find that its most hipster ‘hood is no longer Williamsburg.
